TERMS OF SERVICE

These Terms of Service apply to your use of loolux.co.uk and any purchases made through the website.

Loolux is operated by Stephanie Moore, a sole trader trading as Loolux. Throughout these terms, “Loolux”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Stephanie Moore trading as Loolux.

By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

  1. USING OUR WEBSITE

You may use our website only for lawful purposes. You must not misuse the website, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, introduce malicious software or use it in a way that may damage or interrupt its operation.

We may update, suspend or withdraw parts of the website when reasonably necessary. We cannot guarantee that the website will always be available or free from errors.

  1. PRODUCT INFORMATION

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, prices and other information are accurate.

Colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on your screen settings, lighting and the manufacturing process. Any measurements stated on the website are approximate unless we expressly say otherwise.

We may update product information or discontinue products without notice, but this will not affect orders we have already accepted.

  1. ORDERS

When you place an order, you are offering to purchase the products in your basket.

You will receive an order confirmation email after placing your order. A contract is formed between you and LooLux when we accept your order and send confirmation that it has been accepted or dispatched.

We may be unable to accept an order if:

• The product is unavailable
• Payment cannot be authorised
• There is an obvious pricing or product-description error
• We cannot deliver to the address provided
• We reasonably suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity

If we cannot accept your order, we will contact you and refund any payment already taken.

Please check your order and delivery details carefully before completing your purchase.

  1. PRICES AND PAYMENT

Prices are shown in pounds sterling.

Delivery charges are displayed separately during checkout before you place your order.

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Payment must be authorised before an order can be processed.

If a price has clearly been displayed incorrectly, we may cancel the affected order and issue a full refund.

  1. DELIVERY

We currently deliver within the United Kingdom.

Delivery costs and estimated times are set out in our Shipping Policy and displayed during checkout.

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed. If delivery is significantly delayed, we will contact you where possible and explain the options available.

LooLux remains responsible for the product until it is delivered into your physical possession or the possession of a person you have identified to receive it.

  1. CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Your rights to cancel an online order, return a product and receive a refund are explained in our Returns and Refunds Policy.

You generally have 14 days after receiving an online order to tell us that you wish to cancel, followed by a further 14 days to return the product.

Your legal rights regarding faulty, damaged, misdescribed or unsuitable goods are not affected by these terms or our Returns and Refunds Policy.

  1. PRODUCT USE AND SAFETY

LooLux is a privacy screen and is not a toy.

The product must be used on a flat, stable surface and under adult supervision. Never leave a child unattended while using the product.

Please follow all instructions and safety information supplied with the product. Stop using the product if it becomes damaged or unsafe.

You are responsible for ensuring that the product is used appropriately and in accordance with the supplied instructions.

Nothing in this section excludes or limits our responsibility for providing products that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.

  1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The website and its content—including the LooLux name, branding, product designs, text, photographs, graphics and videos—belong to LooLux or are used with permission.

You may use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify or commercially exploit our content without prior written permission.

  1. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS

Our website is hosted by Shopify and may use services provided by payment processors, delivery providers and other third parties.

The website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, security or privacy practices of those websites.

Your use of a third-party service may also be subject to that provider’s own terms and policies.

  1. PRIVACY

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Shopify and other service providers may process information where necessary to operate the website, process payments, fulfil orders and provide customer support.

  1. OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO YOU

We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for:

• Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
• Breach of your statutory rights relating to products
• Any other liability that cannot legally be excluded

We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.

We supply products for private and domestic use. We are not responsible for business losses, including loss of profit, revenue, business opportunity or data, where the product is used for commercial purposes.

  1. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL

We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control.

If such an event significantly affects your order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible. Your legal rights, including any right to cancel where applicable, remain unaffected.

  1. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these terms when our business, services or legal obligations change.

The terms that apply to an order are those in force when the order is placed. Changes will not apply retrospectively to orders already accepted.

  1. GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring legal proceedings in your local courts where applicable. Nothing in these terms limits any consumer protections that apply where you live.
